Official description

Chopard’s emblematic jumping-hour movement features in three exclusive new editions of the L.U.C Quattro Spirit in ethical gold. Staging an encounter between East and West, the dial on these creations revisits symbols embedded in Japanese culture through Grand Feu enamel skills mastered by a specialized artisan within the Manufacture. The meticulous finishes on the L.U.C Quattro Spirit Enso, L.U.C Quattro Spirit Tattered Fan and L.U.C Quattro Spirit Meditating Daruma have gained them recognition, symbolized by the Poinçon de Genève hallmark. Equipped with the four barrels that characterize Chopard's exclusive Quattro technology, offering an up-to-eight-day power reserve, the L.U.C Calibre 98.06-L places these horological masterpieces among the rare jumping-hour watches endowed with such autonomy. The first series pays tribute to the ensō, the emblematic circle drawn in a single stroke as an act of meditation and mindfulness. This illustrates the beauty of the moment and the acceptance of imperfection through a balance between emptiness and fullness. Sometimes thin and regular and other times broad and irregular, each ensō reflects the state of mind of the calligrapher at the moment of its creation and celebrates the diversity of meanings that this circle can convey: calm, energy, movement or emptiness.
